This model calculates the likelihood of a woman developing breast cancer specifically within 10 years of her current age and over the course of her lifetime. This risk assessment tool is the most accurate model as it takes into account breast density which many other risk assessment calculators do not. The tool is used to inform women and help support the decision making process for supplemental screening imaging and genetic counseling.
